I was hoping that by setting the “Authored On” date to be that of the initial post it won’t come up as a recent item on my front page nor would it come up in the RSS feeds. No such luck regarding thet latter. I’ll see if I can tweak the RSS feeds so that they display the last n entries sorted by authored date, not the posted date.
